Building a Mars Rover!

In this engineering challenge, we worked in collaborative groups to build a Mars Rover.  Our mission was to carry two astronauts (note the pipe figures in the picture) and a payload of rockets (inside the egg) over a designated distance.  We were given a budget, and a selection of materials to use.  We were scored on how far our rover went, if the payload and astronauts made it, and on the amount of credits we spent on our rover.​  See the video below to judge our success.   We were allowed a few practice runs to trial our design before the official challenge started.
